ID:	5897SARANAC – Sarah Elizabeth Buckley, 37, of Canning Rd., passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at CVPH Medical Center, after a relentless and courageous battle with cancer.

    She was born in Plattsburgh on June 4, 1985, the daughter of Gregory and Caroline (Perry) Buckley. Sarah lived life tenaciously with a beautiful smile and contagious laughter. She was a 2003 graduate of Saranac Central School and yearned for the warm weather. Shortly thereafter, she declared Atlanta, GA home, where she lived for over 15 years. She had her family of friends in Hospitality and loved her most recent position as Catering Manager for FIGO Pasta. After her diagnosis, she returned home to fight the spreading cancer and seek healing treatments with the support of her loving family. Sarah appreciated the additional support and friendships of her healthcare workers.

    Sarah loved the arts and was a natural when it came to drawing; she enjoyed music and concerts; she loved animals and adored her dog, Zoey, who was her baby. Survivors include her mother, Caroline Rose Buckley; sisters Mary Catherine Buckley, Kristina Rose Buckley, and Alicia Ann Buckley; brother Robert John Buckley; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    Sarah was predeceased by her father, Greg; paternal grandparents, Robert and Rita Buckley; maternal grandparents, John Perry and Vivian Kalinen.
