ID:	6157 Peter J. Fessette, 63, of Grigware Road in Beekmantown, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on December 11, 1958, the son of the late Eugene and Joanne Leigh (King) Fessette.

    Peter attended Beekmantown Central School and later worked for his father at Fessette Trucking for many years. He was a longtime member of the Beekmantown Fire Department and was also a caretaker of the Point au Roche Cemetery. He enjoyed bowling, cats, and spending time with his family and friends.

    He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Tammy (Henicke) Fessette; his daughter Abby Fessette of Beekmantown, two sons; Jacob Fessette of Cleveland, Ohio, and Kevin Fessette of Schenectady, his stepmother; Joanne (Bulris) Fessette of Point au Roche, his siblings, and their spouses; Michael Fessette and companion Tara Peets of West Chazy, Jessica Fessette of Point au Roche, two aunts; Rosie Boire of Burke of Beekmantown and Rita Fessette of Point au Roche, and a niece, a nephew, and several cousins.

    He was predeceased by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

    Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the family lot at Point au Roche Cemetery at a later date.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Beekmantown Volunteer Fire Department.
