Mike was an energetic and passionate United States Army Veteran and father who found peace on a wrestling mat and spending weekends fishing and boating on Chazy Lake with his family.
Mike is survived by his wife, Stacie Douglas; children, Sean, Cadyann, Brandon, and Tommy "Bumblebee" Douglas; and his stepson, Anthony J. Brady. Son of Tom and Barbara (King) Douglas, Mike also leaves behind his sister, Lauren (Karl) Lyon, and many loving uncles and aunts; notably Tom (Linda King) of Amsterdam and Willie (Sheri) King of Plattsburgh; "Uncle Monkey" also left behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mike is predeceased by his cousins (Gary, Amy, Allie, Abby, and Mary) and his aunts, uncles, and grandparents. His family finds comfort in knowing they will be reunited in paradise, and his soul is now at peace.
In addition to the abovementioned passions, Mike owned his construction company, X-treme Construction, and enjoyed working and remodeling houses to give people their dream homes. Mike was involved with various philanthropic efforts, including a project in which he rehabilitated homes for disabled and/or homeless Veterans.
